Our meals were made fresh with restaurant quality recipe by our certified commercial chefs, then freshly frozen. So you can enjoy these restaurant meals at home.
Gluten Friendly means that the meal does not contain any Gluten ingredients.However as the meals are manufactured in the same facility as meals that do contain Gluten we cannot guarantee they don’t have traces of gluten in them, hence we don’t claim they are gluten free. It is strongly recommended Coeliac’s avoid our meals.If you are just trying to avoid gluten/carbs for other reasons you are absolutely fine to eat them.
• First pierce wrapping but do not completely remove.
• Microwave your meal on high for 4 minutes.
• Allow to cool for 2 minutes.
• Microwave again on high for 2 minutes to reduce moisture.
• Ready to serve and enjoy your meal!
If you would like to serve multiple meals at once, defrost and oven heat.
• First defrost your meals overnight.
• Preheat the oven 180°C to 200°C degrees.
• Remove wrapping from the meal.
• Cover the meal in foil.
• Start checking meals after 15 minutes in a preheated oven.
• Approximate heating time is 30 minutes, however different meals will heat in different times. Test centre part of a meal to see if its heated through.

Asian Affair uses the highest quality, fresh ingredients mostly locally sauced for our meals. There is an onsite Asian garden for us to sauce the fresh herbs, to flavour our menus, with season vegetables.I have food allergies, can I see what menu items are suitable for me? All our meals are dairy free. All our meals are gluten friendly meals.
All of our meals are made and packed as described on our website. We are unable to take requests or customise meal ingredients due to our large volume of production.
Our meals is sized from 460g to 500g each. There is about 300g of curry/stir fry and 200g of rice.
Once you received your Asian Affair order store them in the refrigerator as soon as possible. We recommend storing your meals in the refrigerator to ensure freshness.
There are chilled or frozen meals option. Some meals should arrive to you frozen, so you can either defrost to eat now, or store in your freezer for up to 3 months past the expiry date.
We offer same day shipping Monday to Friday until 4:30pm for next day delivery.
Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are shipping out first thing on Monday.
We ship NZ wide with express overnight delivery. We cannot deliver to rural addresses as orders may take longer than 1 day to arrive.
We do not ship on the day of and prior to Public Holidays.
Good Friday & Canterbury Anniversary Friday (2nd Friday in November)
We do not ship on the Thursday prior to these dates.
All other NZ Public Holidays fall on Mondays.
We use 100% recycled polystyrene boxes. These offer the ultimate insulation to keep your meals frozen for longer.
We offer home & business address delivery nationwide throughout New Zealand.
We recommend you use your work address for deliveries if possible. If your address is classified rural by Courier Post, you will need to pick up your meals from your local NZ Post Agent.
As soon as you place your order you will receive a delivery confirmation email to notify you of your delivery day and date, and if your address is classed as rural, the agent’s address to collect from.For rural deliveries, orders must be collected from the rural agent on the day of delivery. Note most rural agents do not have facilities to refrigerate your meals. Asian Affair cannot be held liable for orders that are not collected on the day of delivery.

As soon as the product leaves our kitchen, you will receive a track & trace email from Courier Post. With the information provided in the email you can easily track your package throughout its journey to your address.
Our courier service is an overnight trackable delivery service for your peace of mind.
Your delivery is packaged in a well insulated box with ice packs.
If no one is home or we cannot reach you, our delivery drivers will leave your delivery some where near the front door and out of the sun.
Pickups are available from our Asian Cooking School commercial kitchen.

Pick up times are Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm
We are closed for public holidays, please come for pick up the day after public holidays.
Freight charge is about $13 to $20 per order. Depending on your location.
